New to the Frederick area? Entering a new stage in life and looking for something exciting to do? New Friends Club of Frederick opens a door for women to make new friends and discover new activities.
New Friends Club of Frederick is primarily a social group and promoting friendship is our goal. We also support humantiarian projects in the Frederick community through our fundraisers where all proceeds are donated to a local charity.

Fund Raiser
This spring we will hold a Fund Raiser at Dutch's Daughter for our new charity, Hillcrest Elementary School . The evening will feature a lovely Buffet Dinner and Silent Auction. We will need a committee to help make this event the best it can be! We will be seeking donations of baskets from our various Activity groups. - Board Meeting The October board meeting was held on October 6, 2026 at the home of Roz Godin.
- The agenda included:
- 1. The October luncheon at Brewer’s Alley
- 2. The November luncheon at Twin Arch Tavern in Mt Airy
- 3. December luncheon entertainment will be The Catoctones
- 4. No more notices will be sent out to members who have not yet paid their dues
- 5. The fundraiser which had been planned for November has been cancelled. It will be revisited in the spring
- Our next board meeting will be on November 3, 2026 at the home of Shirley Merando at 9:30.
